Choose. Move. Be Inspired.

Lately, I’ve been focusing on four simple habits on the Start Your Day Strong checklist. But as I’ve practiced them, I realized they really boil down to three words that guide me every morning:

Choose. Move. Be Inspired.

It starts with one small choice. It continues with moving my body. And it stays with me because I’ve learned how powerful it is to be inspired every single day.

Choose

For me, choosing well started with one decision: dropping the sugary creamer from my coffee. That tiny swap might not seem like much, but it gave me a sense of control, set a positive tone, and reminded me I can start my day with intention—AND I feel proud that I have been able to ditch that creamer!

That’s the thing about choices—they don’t have to be huge to be life-changing. Choosing well might look like drinking a glass of water first thing, taking a walk outside, or turning off your phone for the first ten minutes of your morning.

One small choice → momentum for the whole day.

Move

Movement is how I remind myself I’m strong, and that I want to stay strong as I age. Some mornings, it’s weights in my garage. Other days, it’s a walk with my favorite music or podcast.

It doesn’t matter what it is—it matters that I move. Because movement wakes up more than muscles. It wakes up motivation, confidence, and energy that carries into the rest of my day.

Be Inspired (the piece I didn’t expect)

Here’s the surprise for me: the habit I used to overlook has become the one I can’t live without—Be Inspired.

Every time I fuel my mind with something inspiring—a Mel Robbins podcast, a book, music, or even a sticky note with a powerful line—it changes the way I do everything else. I move more, I make better food choices, I feel motivated to write, and I simply show up better for myself and my family.

I thought inspiration was “extra.” Something nice, but not essential. I’ve learned it’s the opposite. Being inspired first is what helps me follow through on everything else.

A Challenge for You

This week, I want to encourage you to try this for yourself:

👉 Choose. Move. Be Inspired.

Print the checklist. Stick it on your fridge. And then commit to giving yourself one small choice, one simple movement, and one spark of inspiration each morning.

See how it lifts your days. See how it lifts you.

I’ll be honest—this isn’t about perfection. It’s about momentum. These three words have changed how I feel in my body, how I show up for my family, and how I approach my goals.

And now, I’m dreaming of ways to bring these words to life in simple, everyday reminders—on a mug, a tank top, even a sticky note—because seeing it daily matters.

For now, I’ll keep choosing well, moving, and being inspired. And I hope you’ll join me, because one small choice, repeated daily, truly can change everything.
