You know when you get in that motivated phase and you feel determined and excited for that goal you have in mind? Well, I’m in it and I’m determined to stay there and help you get and stay there too.
Today I decided to skip the coffee creamer and drink my coffee black. It’s a thing I thought I would never do because I love a good bit of creamer in that morning coffee. I’ve always had that nagging voice in my head saying, there’s a lot of sugar in that and it’s not the best way to start off the day. Especially in my intermittent fasting attempts over the years and the one I am actually starting TODAY. 💪🏻

In my last post I talked about how the other day was just one of those “ugh” days. My clothes didn’t fit, the scale was a horrendous awakening and I decided to focus on just a few small things I could do to leave that negativity behind and do something about it. That mindset really made a difference. I listened to that one podcast episode that inspired me. So, today I ditched that coffee creamer, and you know what? I actually loved the coffee. Who knew?
This one small positive change completely motivated me and showed me I can do this one little step at a time. This menopausal weight gain has me in my head and anything I can do to just feel a bit better and more like myself is my goal. Today started off right and I am happy to say that I’m ready for that walk.
If you’ve been following along, you know I recently shared my Positive Trifecta — three small daily habits I’m focusing on to feel more like myself again. Skipping the creamer is now officially on that list.
And since coffee is basically my morning ritual, I have to share the ones I love most:
My favorite coffee — smooth, bold, and worth waking up for. Warning—I like a STRONG cup of coffee in the morning, but there are lighter roasts available.
The coffee machine I use every day — quick, easy, and makes the perfect cup (even without creamer). It tastes like it was made at a specialty coffee shop.
If you missed the Positive Trifecta post, you can read it here.
Hoping this helps you pick one positive for your day that can change your perspective. It truly helps!
Happy Friday. ☕
