This past weekend I spent time with life-long friends, and a few newer ones too.
I honestly didn’t realize how much I needed it until I was right in the middle of it.

There was so much laughter that my face and stomach hurt from it afterward. It felt so good. I caught myself thinking, why don’t I do this more often?
Lately, I’ve let the everyday worries take over my thoughts more than I want.
So as March started, I found myself thinking about momentum. Not the kind where you try to change everything at once, but the kind that actually fits into real life.
This weekend reminded me that simple moments create momentum, even when you’re not expecting it.
Momentum doesn’t always come from doing more.
Sometimes it comes from stepping back into life a little and saying yes to those plans, to be around people who know you, and to laugh more than you have in awhile.
These moments of joy can fill our hearts, refresh our minds, and propel us forward with a positive perspective…and a smile.
A Different Kind of Small Win
We hear a lot about small wins, and I talk about them too, but they don’t always look like checking something off a list.
Sometimes a small win is getting out of the house when you didn’t feel like it.
Sometimes it is reconnecting with people who matter.
Sometimes it is just giving yourself a break from your own thoughts for a little while.
That kind of reset may be simple, but it makes a difference.
It changes your energy, clears your head, and makes everything feel a little better.
A Simple Spring Reset
This month, I have been focusing on small, intentional changes that feel doable.
This weekend was one of them.
I’ve also been working on a few other things.
I gave my site a fresh new look. It feels cleaner, simpler, and more like me.
It feels like a spring cleaning, but the kind that actually feels satisfying instead of overwhelming. It’s given me a bit of momentum and the desire to focus on the small, simple things that actually yield positive change.
What’s Actually Helping Right Now
Right now, I am keeping things simple and focusing on a few things each day that help me feel more like myself again.
- Moving my body, even if it is just a walk
- Changing up my routine here and there
- Choosing one or two small wins that actually matter
That’s it.
I am not trying to reset everything. I am just doing enough to create a little forward movement.
A Small Favorite Lately
One small thing that has been helping me lately is my water bottle.
I have been trying to drink more water during the day, and this one has made it feel a lot more doable. I like that I can keep it at room temperature, it is easy to drink from, and it is simple to clean.
Since it is 40 oz, I set a goal to fill it twice a day, and that has actually been something I can stick to.
It’s a small thing, but it has made a difference. There are insulated options available, but this is the water bottle I love.

If anything here resonates with you, I created something just for you. It’s a free guide called When a Season Ends, and it’s written for women who are navigating one of life’s quieter but harder transitions.
It’s not a checklist or a productivity plan. It’s an honest, heartfelt companion for the season you’re actually in.

Before You Go
I keep coming back to this small approach to build a bit of pride and momentum. These small wins and simple changes have helped me build momentum and make positive choices throughout my day.
I hope you have found this relatable and helpful in some way.
I’m really glad you’re here.
